As a result, IFAnet engaged with Cornerstone Insurance (a focused short-term business) to bring their expertise to you and your client base.

The hope through this strategic partnership, you as the Independent Financial Advisor (IFA), will provide a Value Add to your clients BUT at the same time leverage your client base and earn an additional annualised income stream – in a license category you may not have.

Should you opt into the opportunity, IFAnet will provide:

  • Contractual protection;
  • Discount structures to offer your clients;
  • Facilitate the marketing campaign through a dedicated project manager.

DUTIES OF ALL PARTIES

IFA

  • Agree marketing strategy upfront
  • Procure referrals
  • May not offer advice

Cornerstone Insurance

  • Follow up on referrals
  • Sell short term in accordance with FAIS requirements
  • Implementation and fulfillment
  • Close the deal!

IFAnet

  • Provide the marketing and project management services
  • Drive the project with the IFA to commercial viability

The commercial objective would be to gain 100 short-term clients per IFA practice. The IFA will receive 30% of all commissions on the book for as long as the client remains on the IFAnet Client Scheme. The project would look to get to commercial viability within three months.
